       Oswald Chambers reminds us today, "God is justified in saving bad men only as He makes them good.  Our Lord does not pretend we are all right when we are all wrong. The Atonement is a propitiation whereby God through the death [and resurrection] of Christ Jesus makes an unholy man holy."

       This should be remembered as we stare into the face of this babe in a manger so familiar in Nativity scenes.  This child grew up to become our Savior willingly in obedience to the Father's will. Praise His name throughout the year...
